The technology fabric is almost all polyester.

Technology fabrics generally has three main technical indicators, wear resistance, hydrolysis resistance and light color fastness.

The wear resistance of polyester is second only to that of nylon with the best wear resistance, and it is better than other natural fibers and synthetic fibers with good light resistance. Light resistance is second only to acrylic fiber and corrosion resistance. Resistant to bleaching agents, oxidants, hydrocarbons, ketones, petroleum products and inorganic acids. Resistant to dilute alkali and not afraid of mildew, but hot alkali can decompose it. It is an excellent man-made fiber, but it has a very troublesome disadvantage. It is not easy to dye. Because the air contains moisture, the purpose of hydrolysis resistance test is to see the aging resistance of materials, that is, the common coating peeling off. At present, the products of most first-line suppliers can reach 5-10 years, and they can still maintain 4-5 grades.

These test standards are actually higher than real leather. The biggest advantage of leather lies in the embodiment of material texture. This cannot be solved by current technology.

The durability of the coated fabric with leather surface is often worse than that of the uncoated fabric. In addition, many consumers like the feeling that the fabric is stiff and flat, which is stronger than many linen and cotton fabrics.

YE22E001   This is a technology fabric sofa, which can also be called imitation leather fabric. The fabric consists of 150gsm imitation cotton wool and 180gsm fleece backing, with a total weight of about 350gsm and a width of 142-145cm. The fabric of 150gsm is the conventional gram weight we use. It is no problem to reduce or increase the gram weight, but the facial style and handle feeling will also change accordingly. If you want customers with low gram weight, you can consider reducing the gram weight of the backing fabric or replacing the bottom fabric with TC backing' or non-woven backing.

The facial pattern of this fabric is very similar to the skin of an elephant, so it is called elephant pattern. The fabric feels soft, comfortable and breathable, and it is not easy to wrinkle and has strong color fastness. The fabric for sofa itself has certain ductility, but it is not easy to be damaged.

The production process of fabric includes six processes: all-in-one glue sealing, bronzing, bonding, embossing, washing and dry kneading. The first two processes are to make the face of imitation cotton wool into artificial leather state, which is closer to the real leather state, and the bottom is bonded with brown fleece backing. The embossing process is to press the face out of elephant texture, and the washing and dry kneading processes make the fabric feel softer and more comfortable.

The disadvantage of this sofa fabric is that it can't be waterproof and fireproof, and the style is relatively old but still classic. Many European and American customers like it and buy it in bulk, and the price is very favorable. Secondly, this fabric can't clean stains well, but the fabric itself is washable.

Fabric can't be used to make curtain fabrics, but it can be used to make technology cloth sofa, velvet sofa covers, multifunctional sofas and other furniture items, because the width of the door is too narrow.
